Professional Organizing Agreement


Purpose of Contract: The purpose of this Contract is to outline the terms and conditions under which the Professional Organizer will provide organizing services to the Client.

 

Scope of Services: The Professional Organizer will provide the following services to the Client:
Consultation to assess the Client's organizing needs and objectives
Development of a customized organizing plan
Implementation of the organizing plan, including organizing and decluttering the Client's space
Provision of advice and guidance on maintaining an organized space
Fees and Payment: A deposit of 50% of the total cost is required upon your approval of the proposal/quote and scheduling of the project start date. The remaining balance is due upon the completion of the job. 
Travel Fee: Complimentary travel is included within a 30-mile radius of Celina. Additional travel charges may apply for locations beyond this area.
Methods and Terms of Payment: We accept payments via cash, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or Credit Card. Please note that a 3.5% service charge applies to transactions made with Venmo, PayPal, and Credit Cards, while there is no fee for cash or Zelle payments.
Billable Services: Services that will be billed include, but are not limited to, meetings at a client's home, office, or place of business, phone consultations beyond the complimentary introductory consultation, electronic communication, and work done on a client's behalf off-site.
Expenses: Expenses related to the service, such as copying, messenger services, shipping fees, delivery charges, parking, tolls, other transportation charges, and overnight charges are the responsibility of the client and will be billed to the client at the time of service unless the client directly covers these costs.
Supplies: The client is responsible for paying for all necessary supplies, such as file folders, labels, labeling tape, storage containers, and shelving, that are agreed upon for the completion of the project.
Either the client will be advised on what supplies to purchase and will do the shopping themselves, or the Professional Organizer will shop and purchase the supplies on behalf of the client and arrange for delivery to the client's location. The standard hourly rate applies for shopping and returns.
Cancellations: The deposit is nonrefundable as it covers the time spent on planning. Additionally, your reserved day and time are set aside just for you, which limits our availability for other clients.
Liability: The Organizer is not liable for any damage or loss of property during the organizing process. The Client is encouraged to secure personal or valuable items before each session.
Privacy and Confidentiality: Due to the sensitive nature of our work and the trust it requires our clients to place in us, we ensure complete privacy during our work together. We strictly adhere to the National Association of Professional Organizers Code of Ethics, which emphasizes confidentiality, honesty, and integrity.
Governing Law: This Contract shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
No Waiver: No term of this Agreement, or any right or remedy resulting therefrom, shall be deemed or shall constitute a waiver of any other provisions, rights, or remedies, whether expressed or by implication (whether similar or dissimilar).
Entire Agreement: All prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the subject matter covered by this Agreement are superseded by this Agreement, which represents the Parties' sole and final understanding and agreement with respect to that subject matter. Only a written document signed by each Party to this Agreement may change, modify, or add to this Agreement.
Amendments: The Parties agree that any amendments made to this Agreement must be in writing where they must be signed by both Parties to this Agreement. As such, any amendments made by the Parties will be applied to this Agreement.

Photo & Video Release Form


I give permission to Organized Chaos By Stacey, its representatives, employees, and contractors, to take photographs and/or videos of, my property, or my premises for use in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, brochures, and other marketing materials.
I understand that these photographs and/or videos may be used by Organized Chaos By Stacey indefinitely and without any restriction and that Organized Chaos By Stacey owns all rights to these photographs and/or videos.
I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or the use of the photographs and/or videos that may be used in conjunction with them, and I release Organized Chaos By Stacey, its representatives, employees, and contractors, from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of these photographs and/or videos.
I understand that this consent is voluntary and that I will not receive any compensation for the use of these photographs and/or videos.
I acknowledge that I have read and understood this release and that I am giving my consent freely and voluntarily.
